About Us
This is an ideal base from which to enjoy this area of Lincolnshire, with good walking and cycle routes from the doorstep. The town and beach have easy access for mobility scooters using the footpath all the way from the caravan site (1 mile).
Mablethorpe has an excellent sandy beach, and the more energetic can enjoy lovely beach walks.
By road, Chapel St Leonards is 11 miles and Skegness is 18 miles, where you can visit the SSSI RSPB nature reserve at Gibraltar Point. Cleethorpes in the other direction is approx 27 miles by road.
The Roman town of Horncastle is approx 22 miles and famous for its curio and antique shops, then there is the Georgian market town of Louth only 16 miles away, which still has 3 markets every week, Wed, Fri and Saturday.
Alford is 8 miles away with reputedly the largest thatched manor house in the country, well worth a visit.
We have a large site capable of hosting 16 caravans, motor homes or tents. We believe in offering a large pitch to maximise your comfort & privacy, so you can sit back and relax during your stay.
Plus, we strongly believe in making everyone feel welcome, so we have taken measures to create a disabled-friendly site.
We have a purpose-built ablution building including:
- Excellent toilet and shower facilities...
- An accessible and very spacious disabled toilet & shower room...
- Practical wash-up areas at the front of the building...
- Access to clean, fresh water...
- Chemical toilet disposal...
- And wastewater emptying points...
All pitches are on a meter, pay-as-you-go basis.
The ground is reasonably level & regularly mowed. We have a gravel driveway onto the site and some hard standing to be allocated on arrival if avaiable.
Your young ones can take full advantage of our child-friendly play area to be supervised at all times.
BBQs are allowed inside your pitch, but these MUST NOT be done on the grass. However, we are more than happy to provide bricks for you if you don't have the desired set-up.
We have fire extinguishers on site, but we still expect each caravan motorhome to be equipped with its own.
There is a local garage a few doors down with petrol, diesel and some provisions.
The supermarkets nearby include Tesco, Lidl & Co-Op.
We also recommend the local butchers, especially for your BBQ.
